Print is alive and well. Here are some of the publications I have produced.

Annual Reports

I was the lead writer and project manager for three UC Davis Global Affairs Annual Reports. The reports are bold yet professional, innovative yet informative. Using a mix of thematic stories, quotes, images, graphics, and data, they tell the UC Davis global story, provide updates on strategic priorities and outcomes, illustrate where UC Davis stands in the field of international higher education — and, ultimately, bring to life the Global Affairs mission to inspire global curiosity, understanding, and engagement.

We regularly received comments from international partners and leaders in the field that the reports standout. Readers appreciated being able to dive into real stories, see real impact, and gain new knowledge.

Global Affairs Viewbook

The first of its kind for Global Affairs at UC Davis, this viewbook was developed to become a more digestible way for international partners and delegations—along with campus leadership, communicators, and supporters—to understand the breadth of programs and opportunities at UC Davis and within Global Affairs. It was made to be welcoming and bold, to incorporate a new Global Affairs visual identity, and, most importantly, to illustrate the mission and vision of Global Affairs to broad audiences.

This viewbook eliminated several pieces of paper previously used to represent various areas of Global Affairs for broad audiences. It was completed within a low budget and went from conception through reviews and to print in just two months. I was the lead writer and project manager for this Global Affairs Viewbook, which earned a Circle of Excellence Award (Silver) from CASE (Council for Advancement and Support of Education).

Graduate Studies Brochure

When I was the Manager of Communications and Events in Drexel University’s Graduate College, a new division on campus, there was not yet a general printed brochure. Our goal was to create the first brochure of Graduate Studies at Drexel and the approach was to feature students finding success because of the main features of a Drexel graduate education. I wrote the brochure copy, sourced the features, oversaw the photography, and project managed this first of its kind brochure from conception to print.

More Print Publications

Often really good web stories making really good printed handouts, especially for audiences who may not be visiting our websites. When I noticed two web features (one featuring faculty research, and one featuring a student blog) performing well and resonating with our audiences, I oversaw the production of two printed pieces that integrated the copy and images from the stories with our branding and visual identity to make for a nice “leave behind” in meetings or visits.
